Job description

A Silicon Valley-based company building relevant iOS/macOS, DevOps, and CI software that utilizes the latest technology, is looking for a Software Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for building scalable and efficient software solutions. The company is committed to solving real problems with innovative technologies that would solve DevOps infrastructure challenges. This will be a full-time long-term role that requires some overlap with the UK or US time zones. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on developing and maintaining macOS virtualization applications
  • Build features for existing macOS apps to enable execution and running of macOS VMs
  • Help to test software development methodologies and provide feedback for continual improvement
  • Assist in maintaining, supporting, and improving existing systems and platforms
  • Work on troubleshooting, debugging, and updating systems in accordance with project goals and industry standards
  • Help to automate operations, create software infrastructure, and assist with capacity planning and architecture
  • Develop essential software solutions working alongside data scientists, business users, project managers, and other engineers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Must be well versed with macOS system programming
  • Proven experience in developing Kext on macOS
  • Experience of working in a test-driven environment and automated testing frameworks
  • Should be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently
  • Must be able to execute the full software development life cycle and build highly available, scalable & secure systems
