Job description

A fast-paced company on a mission to offer clients hope and individualized care in their times of need is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing elements that support the product plan. The company's mission is to provide clients with high-quality care in clinics or at their doorstep by fusing a human-centered approach with simple technology. Job Responsibilities:

Development of the full stack with a focus on front-end user experiences
Work on APIs, test your code, and do code reviews
Work together with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to find solutions to pressing issues facing the healthcare system.
Design and put into practice items that help the product plan
Assume control for niche areas like payment, availability control, developer tools and experience, alerts, and code quality, among others
Assist the development team's efforts, including those of the internal and external team members, as a technical lead by directing and contributing to them
Keep up with new developments and vendor offerings; assess and offer suggestions as needed
Help with task estimation, planning, scheduling, and staffing
Mentor software engineers to promote the growth of their abilities and knowledge through suggestions, coaching, and educational opportunities
Establish process enhancements, best practices, and new process development
Work closely with management and cross-functional teams
Utilize a variety of platform stacks and systems

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
Experience with Node, Typescript, and PostgreSQL
Knowledge of Elixir, Android, iOS, and third-party vendor integrations is nice to have
Experience with writing integration and unit tests
4+ years of experience writing high-quality code to build services, APIs, and web applications
4+ years experience developing apps, integrating other services
Knowledge of U.S. healthcare from a technical side, with practical applications of data infrastructure and time-sensitive workflows
Knowledge of system monitoring tools and automated testing frameworks
Experience with relational databases and a few programming languages
Intellectual curiosity, analytical mind, and problem-solving attitude
Comfort with the speed of change that comes from working in a middle-stage startup
Strong written and verbal English communication
