Job description

An NYSE-listed company enabling users to quickly and easily translate complex data into meaningful and actionable insights is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be collaborating with the platform and UI engineers, along with quality engineers, to build world-class products. Users can tap into the advantages of both private and public clouds thanks to the company's hybrid data platform for modern data architectures. The company has managed to raise around $1bn in funding so far. This role will require at least 4 hours of overlap with CST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development of the brand new offering for the shared data security and management
  • Design, code, and implement back-end services and script-based tools
  • Work iteratively in an agile development environment
  • Debug issues at the customer deployments, root cause analysis, and resolve failures

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Extensive experience in Java and Kubernetes
  • Nice to have experience in Spring (Java), Golang, and Terraform
  • Prior experience in Postgres and DynamoDB is a plus 
  • Prolific experience in Shell scripting, Kubernetes, and Helm Containerization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Demonstrable experience in AWS cloud platform
  • Experience in microservices development and technologies (gRPC, Thrift, etc.)
  • Nice to have AWS Cloud networking knowledge
  • Experience in Java Spring and Cadence Workflow is a plus
  • Experience in database technologies (Postgres, DynamoDB) and Terraform is preferred 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
