Job description

A rapidly-growing company that enables users to build enormous data pipelines in minutes, saving time and money on engineering and cloud costs, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The engineer will be working closely with the CTO to shape and execute the company’s product roadmap. By designing the infrastructure and orchestrating workloads across numerous clusters simultaneously, the platform can deliver production-ready operations in minutes. The company has managed to raise $120K+ during their Seed round of funding. This will be a nice opportunity for candidates to work and own projects essential to the success of the company.

Job Responsibilities:

Implement recognized best practices to design, develop, test products
Effectively communicate ideas and code through proper documentation
Design production-grade systems and own implementation of complex features
Work on medium large scale projects with an analytical and problem-solving mindset
Provide mentorship and guide junior software engineers and interns to instill a high-performance mindset
Identify opportunities to delight users, track risks and dependencies, and champion critical features over the finish line

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
Extensive experience working with Go/Golang, Java, and Rust
Prior experience deploying and monitoring scalable Kubernetes applications
Nice to have some understanding of Golang microservices and Typescript/React
Demonstrable experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP
Ability to take ownership of end-to-end project lifecycle
Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers
