Job description

A US-based enterprise that invests in pre-seed and seed-stage startups is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The engineer will contribute expertise in building projects and developing the company’s review and analysis software that facilitates startup investing decisions. With over 250 investments, the company utilizes an approach centered around building an early-stage experience and a commitment to support the next generation of fearless founders. The selected candidate will join the team to build high-quality products and reinvent the industry. This role requires a time overlap with the PST/CST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute efforts in building free software for the entire ecosystem to help entrepreneurs
  • Work collaboratively to solve problems across industries
  • Work closely with the Head of Engineering and help architect and sustain impactful products
  • Drive and educate standards across the development team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Must have expertise in Rails, React, and GraphQL
  • Nice to have experience in Node.js
  • Experience developing server-side applications using various technologies
  • Ability to stay motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, and function under pressure
