Job description

A digital health company providing specific, unique, actionable insights and offering prescription benefit plans for customers is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The engineer will gain the opportunity to build creative solutions to business and technical challenges while working collaboratively across teams. The company uses data-driven transparency and insights and works across the entire pharmacy chain to help provide access to affordable healthcare that helps people lead more productive lives. The candidate will join a high-performing team of mission-driven innovators to tackle some of the most complex healthcare challenges. This role requires a time overlap with EST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build quality products and features using leading-edge technology
  • Actively collaborate with the QA team and other engineers to review code and participate in pair-programming
  • Utilize test-driven development (TDD) to ensure the ideal and sound operation of new product features 
  • Offer technical inputs and knowledge to aid the planning, design, and requirements process for new software
  • Ideate and innovate on the architecture for complex products, taking into account current limitations 
  • Scale platform’s performance, maintainability, and operations through a quality codebase

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant software engineering experience 
  • Experience working across teams to build and enhance products
  • Core competency in Python and PostgreSQL
  • Nice to have some experience in React and AWS
  • Full-stack and back-end engineering experience
  • High enthusiasm for data
  • Domain expertise to promote best practices and mentor other engineers
