Job description

A US-based startup that is providing easy access to investment opportunities while bypassing the traditional methods, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for providing technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring on design, code, and strong engineering practices. The company provides access to top-tier alternative investments, creating an efficient way to gain diversified exposure to non-public assets with lower capital minimums, transparent fees, and greater liquidity. This role requires a 5+ hours overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build high-quality, scalable, and performant SaaS applications
  • Write clean, reliable, and highly maintainable code
  • Drive both the mission and technical direction within the organization
  • Work in a collaborative environment with other teams to deliver optimal results
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring on design, code, and strong engineering practices

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
  • Proficient with React.js, Python, and Go
  • Previous working experience in the fintech industry is an added advantage
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
