Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is utilizing cutting-edge technologies to develop an innovative pharmacy management system, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The engineer will be working closely with the CTO to create top-notch software that is in line with user needs and company objectives. The company is working to find solutions to issues that independent and chain pharmacies constantly encounter. Candidates capable of working autonomously with little supervision would be excellent for this position. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills should be combined with interpersonal communication skills
  • Develop excellent software architecture and design
  • Build excellent applications and tools by writing clear, effective code
  • Review and put into practice intricate industry specifications
  • Automate tasks with scripting and the right tools
  • Oversee the creation of fresh features and continuing upkeep for the company's flagship product and other items in the portfolio
  • Perform system and software testing, internal application upgrades, security upkeep, risk analyses, and user interface design
  • Develop and put into operation useful software solutions
  • Take the initiative on operational and technical projects, and collaborate with higher management to determine the software needs
  • Examine, improve, and fix the code while running tests for validation and verification
  • Work together to troubleshoot and improve goods with internal teams and vendors
  • Record development stages and monitoring tools
  • Ensure that the software is updated and utilizes the newest technology

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 5+ years of experience working with Vue.js, NoSQL, and .NET
  • 2+ years of experience working in an IT-related programming and engineering position
  • Strong understanding of .NET Core and Web API
  • Solid comprehension of relational databases and NoSQL databases 
  • In-depth knowledge of programming techniques, computer software, data communication, and report processing
  • Demonstrable experience working with a variety of operating systems
  • Ability to operate independently with an analytical mind and flair for problem-solving
  • Ability to operate accurately in a fast-paced atmosphere and prioritize tasks with excellent organizational, leadership, and time management skills
  • Before being hired, the candidate must clear a drug test and a background investigation
  • Obtain an affirmative Medicare OIG check before hiring
  • Nice to have some familiarity with the independent pharmacy sector
  • Commitment to the company's values and the ability to work well with others
  • Excellent conversational and written English communication skills
