Senior Java Engineer

A NASDAQ-listed company that has developed an industry-leading omnichannel demand-side platform is looking for a Senior Java Engineer. The selected candidate will take charge of the company’s ad server, managing a high-volume, low-latency application. The company's advertising software allows ad buyers to plan, create, execute, maintain, scale, and assess their digital advertising investments using a cloud-based platform. This will be a great opportunity for developers to work with state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and further their careers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop a self-diagnostic and healing architecture
• Deliver and implement on different software projects using solid technical expertise 
• Work on the project analysis, gather requirements, design, and development them
• Startup review sessions and contribute to the project's design insights and system testing to ensure quality deliverables
• Develop good quality projects in a challenging time frame and assist other members of the team
• Work on the development and continuous review of existing projects 
• Participate in project view and scope, actively contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Work closely with program managers and other developers for assigned tasks 
• Be responsible for the completion of any assigned project
• Adapt fast to changes in product requirements and the development ecosystem
• Skillfully identify and resolve project issues promptly

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
• 4+ years of experience programming in Java and demonstrable skills in Golang
• Expert skills in MySQL, Oracle, and other database technologies
• Strong foundation in computer science and OOP
• Experience performing requirements gathering, analysis, and specification
• Able to develop detailed design specifications
• Commitment to providing excellent quality products
• Strong analytical and logical thinking capability
• Good organizational skills, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
• Team player with the ability to effectively utilize the resource provided by the team/company
