Job description

A rapidly-growing company supporting the digital transformation of businesses from concept to operationalization is looking for a Senior Java Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of building, maintaining, and deploying features from end to end. The company offers businesses a range of innovative services that are focused on churn prevention, smart meter analytics, and market research. This role requires some overlap with the CET time zone.   


Job Responsibilities:

  • Regularly conduct code reviews and suggest improvements 
  • Write testable, high-performant, and low-latency codes 
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to obtain feedback on product scalability and reliability
  • Work autonomously within tight deadlines to deliver software solutions
  • Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize and integrate processes 


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Java and Spring
  • Demonstrable experience with relational databases such as SQL 
  • Solid understanding of web services is a plus
  • Prior experience working with JEE, JPA, Hibernate, Spring Framework, Maven, and Gradle
  • Nice to have experience with JavaScript (React/Angular) and NoSQL 
  • Proficiency in German is preferred 
  • Fluent in spoken and written Polish and English
