Job description

A US-based company that provides marketing, sales, and operational consulting to some of the biggest and fastest-growing companies in the world is looking for a Senior Front-End Web Engineer. The engineer will work closely with the engineering team leads and product owners to advance the technical projects. The company has built a complete business solution that is market-ready and set to compete and win against other marketing solutions such as Salesforce, Microsoft, Hubspot, etc. The selected candidate will join the rapidly growing team while leveraging deep professional experience and understanding of technology to participate in the development, technical troubleshooting, and product releases. This is a full-time, long-term role that requires an overlap with CST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Tackle technical issues head-on, troubleshoot, and create efficient and timely solutions 
  • Work with front-end architects to ensure the software is scalable and maintainable
  • Write tests to ensure the stability of the codebase as it continuously evolves 
  • Engage in regular code audits to find areas of improvement and ensure excellence
  • Practice an engineering culture of accountability and teamwork 
  • Ensure best practices using the software development life cycle and coding standards
  • Collaborate with the product team to design feasible features and offer feedback 
  • Design modern solution architecture that can scale with growth
  • Develop personal growth goals and career advancement paths with your manager
  • Contribute to architecture discussions with the Director of Engineering

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional front-end development experience 
  • Expertise in JavaScript with a focus on the implementation of React/Redux
  • At least 3 years of experience developing and managing enterprise-scale implementations
  • Exceptional collaboration, organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Driven and self-motivated with a track record of addressing difficult problems
  • Exposure to Relational Database schema (PostgreSQL), Python, and the Django REST framework
  • Prior experience contributing to open-source projects, along with side Projects
  • Keen interest in data warehousing, business intelligence, and predictive analytics
