The developer will be working with cross-functional teams to produce technical documentation in writing, via Slack, and occasionally vocally. Job Responsibilities:
- Business needs must be converted into application logic and functionality before being supported by an architecture built on our software stack
- Utilizing React Native and TypeScript, create/develop the aforementioned application logic and functionality for our mobile app and cloud environment
- Contribute to the upkeep of the current code base, making wise refactoring choices and fixing production bugs
- Code review other developers' pull requests, including downloading and directly testing their code
- Utilizing Firebase, assist with back-end service maintenance (for data, auth, etc)
- Offer timely communication throughout working hours and dependable standup and code review cycle check-ins
- Give a reassonably accurate analysis of the business
- Pixel-perfect compatibility with our design system and Figma product user interface designs
- Showcase good judgment when deciding when to advocate for or provide alternate solutions to issues when features or designs need for a lot of work
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
- Prior experience working with Modern React and React Native, including Hooks and other modern platform features
- Demonstrable experience with iOS build toolchains like Fastlane
- Experience working on and troubleshooting Podfile bugs and other package conflicts
- Prolific experience with Firebase stack, including Firestore, Auth, Auth, Cloud Functions, Remote Config, Storage, Dynamic Links, and Cloud Messaging
- Prior experience working with Google Maps on the mobile client, and/or the Google Places API is nice to have
- Fluent in spoken and written English communication
