Job description

A well-established company that has been providing world-class air conditioning products and services to a large customer base spanning over the globe, is looking for a Lead DevOps/SaaSOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be in charge of examining logs, data, and code to identify issues, make inferences, and find solutions. The company supplies air conditioners made to clean and freshen indoor air and provide consumers with the utmost comfort whenever and wherever they are. Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with production workloads that can demand callouts and after-hours assistance
  • For the cloud platform, create and implement scalable, highly available, secure, and fault-tolerant systems
  • Create, construct, and launch pipelines for AWS, Jenkins, and Bitbucket
  • Put your efforts into integrating Dockerized application components with infrastructure and other services
  • Encourage teamwork and dedication to reach shared objectives in an agile setting
  • Contribute to the design, construction, and upkeep of the cloud-building management platform
  • Work closely with the DevOps, QA, and SaaSOps team members as well as the SaaSOps team
  • Regulate the design of cloud-based solutions 
  • Manage the creation, construction, review, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of code in a creative and highly collaborative setting

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps/SaaSOps Engineer
  • 3+ years of experience architecting and implementing secure and scalable infrastructure for cloud-native applications on AWS
  • Prolific experience working with Docker and other relevant container technologies
  • Demonstrable experience with Linux-based operating systems
  • Extensive experience working closely with Jenkins, PostgreSQL, Linux, Bash, and Python scripting languages
  • Solid functional knowledge of application deployment automation and infrastructure and platform design and administration
  • Demonstrable experience working with AWS services like ECS, EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, VPC, Route53, ELB, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SQS, SES, Lambda, Secrets Manager, API Gateway, KMS, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, ECS, ECR, Certificate Manager, Cognito, Cloud Map, DynamoDB, and IoT Core
  • Proficient knowledge of BASH, Python, Docker, Jenkins, Git, PostgreSQL, SSH, and Nginx
  • In-depth knowledge and experience building Docker images
  • Experience providing Infrastructure as Code in CI/CD environments utilizing the CloudFormation and CodePipeline pipelines
  • Prior experience deploying software using CodeDeploy and pipelines
  • Working knowledge of operational tools, expertise in utilizing Automation/DevOps principles, and the capacity to implement best practices for infrastructure and software deployment
  • Solid understanding of safeguarding SaaS products built on AWS infrastructure in situations with multiple accounts
  • Nice to have AWS Certifications
  • Prior experience managing microservice workloads is desirable
  • In-depth experience leveraging Automation/Pipelines/DevOps principles is preferred
  • Some experience with operational tools and the ability to apply best practices for infrastructure and software deployment is nice to have
  • Ability to efficiently solve challenging issues
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
