Job description

The selected candidate will be responsible for building cutting-edge, scalable analytical solutions. The company is helping users to protect their assets and online identity by preventing organizations from harvesting this data to make money. Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the vision and strategy of Data Science for the organization
  • Utilizing the latest methods and processes, as well as developing new ones when necessary, assist in redesigning the data science model development lifecycle
  • Create innovative tools, cutting-edge analytical methods, and products
  • Support the development of proprietary analytical products by collaborating with important clients and stakeholders
  • Clearly convey analytical findings to important stakeholders by utilizing powerful data visualizations, excellent presenting abilities, and business language
  • Take control of project management, including establishing the technical and business requirements, scheduling resources, and designing analytical solutions
  • Offer suggestions and market information to assist in resolving complex business issues

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a data scientist
  • Extensive experience working with Python, SQL, and R in a large data environment
  • 3+ years of experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics like regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, and neural networks (including LSTMs, and RNNs)
  • 3+ years of experience designing, building, and implementing analytical solutions to solve real-world problems
  • 2+ years of experience building models with the best packages including sci-kit learn, XGBoost, Tensorflow, PyTorch, and Transformers
  • 2+ years of experience developing and leading the technical vision of an organization 
  • Prior experience working independently and closely with senior leadership to lead data science
  • Experience with new technologies and ability to quickly assess value and implement them within organizations
  • Nice to have some experience working in financial services, telecommunications, or utilities
  • Experience working with browser-level data to extract insights is desirable
  • Prior experience working with credit or fraud data is preferred
  • Experience with the development and deployment of models in a cloud-based environment such as GCP and Firestore is nice to have
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication skills
