Job description

A fast-growing company that is developing a cutting-edge platform that allows users to conduct legal research and create legal documents, is looking for a Lead Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for promoting an enthusiasm for engineering best practices including testing, linting, and good code. The company is building next-gen products to help users satisfy a variety of legal requirements, improving the speed, accuracy, and accessibility of legal procedures. This is a nice opportunity for developers who are determined to work with a team of passionate while providing world-class legal services. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create software, test it before deploying it, maintain it, and add new user-facing features to all of the products and services
  • Work with a multi-functional, agile team including product management, product design, and engineering, drive technical decisions
  • Applications should be enhanced for optimal performance and scalability, and input from customers and internal teams should be analyzed to spot problems and areas for improvement
  • Verify the software's dependability, extensibility, maintainability, debuggability, security, thorough testing, and load-time performance

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Prolific experience working with Python, DevOps, and Machine Learning
  • Some familiarity with AWS is desirable
  • Nice to have an in-depth knowledge of API Integration and Data Engineering
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
