Job description

A US-based company building advanced solutions and technologies to provide modern financial services to emerging markets is looking for a Junior Back-End Developer. The developer will be responsible for writing clean and efficient codes that are scalable and reusable. The company is building modern financial mobile tools that help users to borrow, save, and grow efficiently. The company has managed to raise more than $350 mn in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and configure new features, tools, and designs for the company’s customers
  • Conduct thorough analysis of design databases and data storage requirements 
  • Write easy-to-maintain and testable codes
  • Work collaboratively with a dynamic engineering team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Must have demonstrated experience in at least one of the following languages: Java,Scala, Kotlin, and Golang
  • Proficient in REST API development and design for web/mobile use
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in DS is compulsory
  • Demonstrated experience working with relational databases
  • Sound verbal and written English communication skills is a must
