Job description

A NASDAQ-listed electric vehicle manufacturer that works to offset the carbon footprint and is quickly becoming the industry leader is looking for a Java Engineer. The engineer will be working with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable, reliable, secure, and efficient infrastructure. The company has pledged itself to help build a better world by helping fleets to electrify at scale. They have managed to raise funding worth more than $10bn+ so far. This role requires at least 4 hours overlap with the CST time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on designing, deploying, and testing APIs using Java 
  • Take charge of reviewing business requirements and product interface design
  • Develop and maintain efficient APIs with proper data processing solutions
  • Work on integrating back-end components with front-end elements
  • Develop fluid and intuitive user interface components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional software architecture and design teams regularly

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Java Engineer
  • Experience in working with modern languages like Java and SQL
  • Thorough knowledge of CI/CD processes is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with ActiveMQ or Kafka will be a plus
  • Knowledge of working with JBOSS will be an added advantage
