Job description

A US-based data management software providing valuable insights needed to make smart storage decisions, is looking for a Full-stack (Frontend-heavy) Developer. The developer will be working with a small dynamic team using some of the latest technologies to produce functional typesafe code. The company’s refreshing take on data management strategy automatically monitors and tracks every job, generating reports on demand for departmental chargebacks and client billing while also providing flexible API integration with 3rd party applications to bring clarity to workflow. This is a long-term, full-time role that requires 4+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on building front-end web applications served by a dedicated back-end for front-end APIs
  • Collaborate with a small yet dynamic team utilizing the latest technologies to produce functional typesafe code 
  • Work on translating UI designs into React components
  • Develop tests and stories for development and our CI environments
  • Develop easily scalable, responsive, and well-documented stacks
  • Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented codes and tests

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in writing front-end web applications
  • Experience in working with React.js is strongly preferred
  • Must possess a strong command over Typescript and Node.js development
  • Must be able to code utilizing immutable data structures and functional patterns
  • Prior experience in working with CSS and web design conventions
  • Knowledge of CSS in JS will be a plus
  • Professional experience in developing API endpoints and fetching data from remote sources
  • Experience working with GraphQL will be an added advantage
  • Must be able to work independently with weekly feedback and oversight
  • Strong interpersonal skills with fluency in English
