Job description

A leading Silicon Valley-based cryptocurrency platform is looking for a Full-stack front-end-heavy Engineer. The developer will be tasked with testing and developing new features tailored to improve the overall customer experience along with maintaining the current functionality. The company is a mobile-centric combination of social network and cryptocurrency. It aims to build the world’s most innovative peer-to-peer cryptocurrency marketplace. This is a long-term, full-time role and requires at least 5+ hours overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Carry out unit tests across multiple browsers and platforms
  • Deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software
  • Define application objectives, features, and functionality 
  • Design, develop, and test software applications 
  • Debug and resolve technical issues 
  • Analyze existing infrastructure and recommend improvements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Extensive experience with React and Ruby on Rails
  • Some prior experience with Typescript, MySQL, or MongoDB is nice to have
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be a team player and willing to help other members
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
