Fullstack (BE Heavy) Engineer

An emerging company building a machine learning tool for engineers is looking for a Full-stack, backend-heavy Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for developing a stable, scalable, and secure model serving platform. The company aims to create fast scaling pipelines to extend the capabilities of data scientists and bring cutting-edge research into production systems. The developer will work across the entire system to architect the backend and iterate on improving the developer experience. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to delivering best-in-class developer experiences in the space. The role requires at least 4+ hours of time overlap with EST.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the backend, command-line interface, and SDK
• Work on adding new capabilities to the dashboard
• Work with users to iterate on and improve the developer experience
• Contribute to building a model serving platform that is scalable, stable, and secure

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• Must have experience in Python and Django
• Familiarity with Docker, AWS, and Machine Learning is nice to have
• Previous experience building an internal MLOps platform 
• Experience working with data scientists/data engineering teams
• Good understanding of full-stack, back-end technologies, and architecture 
• Proficient in web debugging and profiling tools with an understanding of web performance best practices
• Test-driven development experience with strong communication and collaboration skills
