Fullstack (BE) Engineer (5)

A fast-growing US-based company that is active in the FinTech industry, is looking for a Full-stack (BE) Engineer. The developer will be building an innovative payment network that allows billers to get paid through payroll. The company has streamlined the payment process to reduce credit risk and expand access. The company has developed a system through which customers can now pay bills directly through Paychex, ADP, Gusto and more. The role requires at least 4+ hours of time overlap with the CDT time zone. This will be a great opportunity for developers to execute innovative solutions while tackling complex issues.

Job Responsibilities:

• Take charge of integrating front-end resources with server-side logic and functionalities
• Assist front-end developers to ensure quick development
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to streamline development
• Perform quick optimization tasks and resolve scalability related problems
• Ensure proper integration of security & data protection protocols
• Conceptualize, design, and build APIs, data storage solutions, and other engineering projects

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of relevant experience in full-stack development
• Must have experience in working with Golang and Docker
• Should possess in-depth knowledge of AWS and related technologies
• Knowledge of Terraform would be an added advantage
• Must be experienced in automated testing platforms and using code versioning tools such as Git
• Must work with an analytical mindset 
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to speak fluent English
