Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing SaaS software lifecycle management services and technologies is looking for a Full-Stack Front-End-Heavy Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of developing scalable components for maximum performance across a vast array of devices and web browsers. The company is challenging the existing technology and product lifecycle solutions with their next-gen services. This position requires some overlap with the PST time zone. During their Seed round, the company has managed to secure $2.2mn+ in funding.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Tackle some difficult challenges while building a scalable and efficient application
  • Collaborate with the existing team to ensure the application conforms to user specifications
  • Take on additional responsibilities and leadership opportunities
  • Build a modern, responsive web-based user interface

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or front-end engineer
  • Extensive experience working with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
  • Prolific API and Material UI development experience
  • Demonstrable experience with D3 and other Node visualization libraries
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and Neo4J Graph Databases
  • Extensive container-based development experience
  • Experience with JS concepts like a callback, batching, asynchronous and non-blocking, and event-driven programming
  • Prior experience building internet-facing RESTful APIs and web services technologies like REST, GraphQL, JSON, YAML, SOAP, XML, etc.
  • Experience with relational or graph databases and data modeling is nice to have
  • Nice to have some knowledge of GCP or other cloud services
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
