Job description

A well-established, US-based company offering consulting and advisory services to healthcare technology innovators is looking for a Full-Stack, Front-End-Heavy Engineer. As an engineer, you will contribute across the team and help set the direction of the products. The company is led by top industry professionals and has so far worked with close to 100 innovative multinational organizations and startups worldwide. The candidate will work primarily on the front-end development as well as building and implementing designs from initial product concepts. This will be a full-time position for the selected candidate to work collaboratively while leveraging cutting-edge research and modeling to engineer innovative solutions. The role requires some time overlap with the EST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of the front-end design and visualization for all data products, from ideation to execution
  • Build out a robust software architecture that is scalable to future products
  • Obtain knowledge of the core mission and collaborate with the team to develop new product features
  • Assist with the back-end development, including data management and optimization as required

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack/front-end engineer
  • Must have experience in JavaScript, Bootstrap jQuery, Flask, and PostgreSQL
  • The ability to contribute across the stack is a major plus
  • Prior experience with HTML and CSS is preferred 
  • Fluency in both written and verbal English 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
