Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing automotive technology and offering goods and services to promote the transition to sustainable mobility, is looking for a Full-Stack Front-End-Heavy Engineer. The engineer will be tasked with creating state-of-the-art serverless web applications using event-driven and serverless architectures on AWS. The FRA-listed company is manufacturing world-class electric vehicles that will transform the future generation's way of life and help control carbon footprints. This position requires a significant overlap with the PST time zone. So far, the company has managed to secure more than $13.3bn in funding so far. This will be a full-time position. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Adopt cutting-edge web technologies like Webpack Module Federation and React
  • Make a commitment to developing reliable, scalable, and efficient solutions
  • Use AWS Amplify to design, build, test, and implement serverless web applications 
  • Utilizing webpack Module Federation for Micro front-ends with React, create dynamic and efficient front-end components
  • Work together with cross-functional teams to produce high-caliber, user-friendly applications, including Product Managers, Designers, and QA Engineers
  • Assure the performance, scalability, and security of the application
  • Investigate and fix technical problems for the whole stack
  • Keep up with market developments and industry best practices concerning web development, event-driven architecture, and AWS Serverless

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or front-end engineer
  • Extensive experience working with React, Python, TypeScript, and AWS Lambda
  • Prior experience with Step Functions, GraphQL, and EventBridge
  • Strong knowledge of best practices and serverless architecture
  • 3+ years of expertise with the serverless architecture of AWS
  • Thorough understanding of event-driven architecture
  • Extensive knowledge of AWS's various services, including S3, Cognito, AppConfig, and API Gateway
  • In-depth knowledge of modern web development techniques and tools, such as Webpack Module Federation
  • Familiarity with AWS Amplify, DynamoDB, and AWS Appsync is nice to have
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
