Job description

A fast-growing company that is developing an AI-powered platform with autonomous estimating, augmenting, and closeout, is looking for a Full-Stack Front-End-Heavy Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for developing new functionality for the company's internal web dashboard and mobile field app. The company uses its mobile app to take photo-centric house inspections, automatically generate insurance reporting to expedite approval, and help roofing contractors get bigger jobs, quicker insurance approvals, and instant payments. This will be a long-term, full-time position requiring 3+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Keep up-to-date with the standard language, code standards, and operational needs
  • Work on related frameworks, third-party libraries, and both front-end and back-end programming
  • Collaborate along with the rest of the team and the stakeholders
  • Actively seek out, assess, and use innovative technology to boost development effectiveness

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or front-end engineer
  • Extensive experience working with React, React Native, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Next.js, Node.js, Firebase, and Tailwind CSS is nice to have
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
