Job description

A well-known, U.S.-based company that has successfully established a far-reaching social platform for connecting like-minded individuals, is looking for a Full-Stack Front-End-Focused Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving new features end-to-end, i.e. prototyping, validation, implementation, launch, and continuous iteration. The company is on a mission to help millions of users find relevant content and start a rich journey on the platform. This company has over 52 million daily active users and has managed to raise over $1.1 in funding, so far. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Navigate user feedback and market research to develop features that deliver a great user experience
  • Design feature systems and their engineering architecture for web, app, and front-end needs
  • Take key decisions and troubleshoot difficult product problems
  • Collaborate with internal teams including design, product, and engineering to enhance the UX
  • Mentor other engineers and lend valuable technical leadership in specific areas
  • Analyze data and market trends to set up large, complex features for company success

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Full-Stack Engineer
  • Demonstrable experience with React libraries, frameworks, and stacks
  • Experience writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Python or Node.Js experience would be a plus
  • Excellent CS fundamentals and strong engineering skills
  • Able to fix bugs, review, design, write, and test code, as well as diagnose production issues
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams
  • Great documentation skills and a growth mindset
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills
  • Undeterred under the schedule pressure 
  • Passionate about building well-designed software with the capacity to improve people’s lives around the world
