Job description

A fast-growing company that helps users to start and invest in game-changing e-commerce technologies and consumer brands, is looking for a Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be working on the cutting edge of retail, marketing, and social media technology. The US-based company focuses on providing the tools that producers throughout the world need to attract the proper audience and increase sales. This will be a long-term, full-time role requiring 4+ hours overlap with the EST time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop rich customer-facing user interfaces using CSS style guides
  • Build dashboards with reporting features for merchants and internal operations
  • Work with a deep understanding of the back-end API requirements or assist in the development
  • Develop tests to diagnose features in an automated fashion

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Extensive UX / UI Design experience
  • Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming and strongly-typed data structures
  • Ability to collaborate on projects using tools like GitHub and Jira
  • Expertise in coding in programming languages like Node.js and Typescript
  • Professional experience of working with React.js, HTML, and CSS
  • Prior experience working with Designers and making suggestions etc.
  • Well-versed in developing on PostgreSQL and similar relational databases
  • Deep knowledge of AWS Cloud Infrastructure including the likes of Lambda, SQS, SNS
  • Experience in working with Facebook APIs or other ad products like Taboola
  • Knowledge of working with Shopify APIs
  • Experience in conducting automation tests using Selenium or other browser-based automation tools
  • Ability to work using server programming languages like Python, Ruby, or Java
