Job description

A rapidly-growing tech firm that aims to rebuild the spreadsheets to cater to the evolved and ever-growing pace of companies, is looking for a Full-stack Front-end-heavy Engineer. The engineer will be developing and optimizing applications while also being responsible for planning, designing, and executing end-to-end web architecture. The company is backed by some of the top investors and innovators in Silicon Valley and is hiring a founding team of engineers. This role requires 4+ hours of overlap with the PST and is a great opportunity for developers to work with a talented team of brilliant developers while expanding their skill-set.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop ideas, design, and execute end-to-end web architecture
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams for delivering high-quality products
  • Build scalable, responsive, and well-documented stacks
  • Work with a holistic, test-oriented approach for fine-tuning and upgrading software features

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of significant experience as a full-stack developer specializing in front-end solutions
  • Proficient with Typescript, React, Canvas, and Ruby on Rails
  • In-depth knowledge of CS fundamentals, algorithms and data structures
  • Experience working with JavaScript and related technologies would be preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of large systems, complex code bases, and version control systems such as Git will be a bonus
  • Ability to speak English fluently with strong interpersonal skills
