Full-Stack Engineer (Front-End-Heavy)

A fast-emerging start-up providing an online service for companies and law firms is looking for a Full-Stack Front-End-focused Engineer. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in owning and developing the systems that help solve the critical need for businesses to do their job quickly, easily, and precisely. The company is focused on simplifying repetitive, manual, and detail-oriented compliance work to boost efficiency. It has raised a fund of over $3mn in funding so far. Job Responsibilities:

• Rapidly bring products to market that benefit the customers
• Strive to deliver customers the needed solutions
• Come up with dramatic improvements in problematic processes
• Write good quality code and utilize other handy tools to deliver faster, more reliably, with reduced long-term cost of ownership
• Understand the problem, formulate a plan to address it, and execute
• Identify the value in building well-designed UX and UI to improve the lives of customers

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or front-end developer
• 3+ years of experience as a front-end engineer using HTML, CSS, Less, and JavaScript 
• 2+ years of experience leveraging open frameworks and technology to create meaningful products 
• Demonstrated ability to develop great front-ends using React, Redux, and Less
• A strong passion for writing and deploying code on the same day and the systems and practices that make that possible
• Proficiency in Typescript
• Expertise in Python will be a plus
• A knack for critical thinking and problem solving
• Be passionate about business and using software to create efficiency for businesses
• Effective communication in English, both written and verbal
