Job description

A US-based company providing library automation software to libraries, businesses, and institutions is looking for a Full-Stack Front-End-Heavy Engineer. The engineer will be helping the existing team to create a new web-based UI for the company's application on the Angular framework. The company has been helping organizations make their libraries more accessible in new ways for over three decades. This will be a long-term, full-time role requiring some overlap with the EST time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help design and implement a new robust WebUI
  • Define and inform the product and technical roadmaps
  • Familiarity with web accessibility and writing accessible UI
  • Collaborate with different team members on a daily basis

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or front-end engineer
  • Prolific experience working with Angular and Web Accessibility
  • Demonstrable experience with UI development
  • Nice to have some familiarity with Node.js
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
