Job description

A US-based company that leverages the power of AI to facilitate casual conversations that lead to professional impact, is looking for a Full-Stack Front-End-Heavy Engineer. The selected candidate will be tasked with building UI components, libraries, tools, and services that power the platform. The company utilizes technology to match people for one-on-one video meetings. The company has managed to raise more than $25mn in funding during their Series A round. This will be a long-term, full-time position. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the UI components and libraries are reliable, scalable, secure, and extensible
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and meet targets
  • Boost the performance and responsiveness of the web apps
  • Optimize and scale the existing application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Help form and maintain engineering standards, tooling, and processes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or front-end developer
  • Demonstrable experience working with React, Typescript, and Python
  • Nice to have some knowledge of MySQL
  • Willing to take responsibility and work on the front-end elements 
  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills
  • Fluent in verbal and written English communication
