Full-Stack Engineer (Front-End-Heavy)

A US-based company that helps businesses to locate reliable service providers that will help boost their network and business, is looking for a Full-Stack Front-End-Heavy Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for writing understandable, testable, and maintainable code. The online marketplace connects businesses with qualified agencies and digital marketing service providers that are right for them. They have raised $7mn+ during their Series B round of funding. This will be a long-term, full-time role that requires some overlap with the CST time zone.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Build, test, and deploy new features for the company's ever-growing user base
• Work with the support team to help diagnose and fix production issues
• Lead and participate in code reviews with the engineering team
• Design and prototype new UI and user interactions
• Lead or participate in architectural discussions and help drive technical decisions
• Design and contribute to tools that help the internal teams and development process
• Collaborate with the product team, discuss the potential solutions to problems, and help design the future

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or front-end developer
• 3+ years experience building web applications and UI
• Demonstrable experience working with ReactJS, HTML/CSS, Ruby/Rails, and Git
• Nice to have some understanding of AWS and PostgreSQL
• Experience with other front-end UI frameworks is a plus
• Experience with RESTful services and APIs
• Experience with responsive design, development, and optimization
