Job description

An industry-leading company dedicated to informing and inspiring government leaders and civil servants at all levels to enhance society is looking to hire a Full-Stack, Front-End-Heavy Engineer. The engineer will contribute development efforts to the standard web app for media websites. The company is providing government contractors with real-time, predictive intelligence, community activation, and performance marketing tools to solve some of society's biggest challenges. The selected candidate will contribute to building systems that will empower the industry to target the right solutions for government decision-makers to tackle difficult problems affecting society and bring clarity to challenging issues. This role requires a minimum of 3+ hours overlap with EST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create new instances of web applications
  • Perform migrations of all acquired company's content out of the CMS
  • Activate and launch on a new instance of the web app, following the template
  • Build systems for the future needs of government leaders

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or front-end engineer
  • Must have solid experience with Python/Django and PostgreSQL
  • Ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical colleagues and stakeholders
  • Experience with a content management system
  • Excited to work in a rapidly growing environment
