Job description

A US-based company that specializes in the development of energy-saving electronic controllers for refrigerators and air conditioners, is looking for a Full-Stack Back-End-Heavy Engineer. The developer will be responsible for troubleshooting and fixing application bugs or errors as they arise. The company's leading-edge technology is revolutionizing the refrigeration industry with top-notch performance and services. They have raised more than $16.5mn in funding so far. This will be a full-time role requiring some overlap with the CST time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and advocate rapid iteration and Agile approaches to software development
  • Maintaining high performance and compatibility across platforms
  • Be a full-fledged contributor and help cross-functional teams
  • Build self-contained, reusable, and testable code

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or backend engineer
  • Must have expertise in Golang, JavaScript, Python, Database Management Systems, REST, JSON, and XML
  • Familiarity with C/C++, Socket programming, and Networking is nice to have
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to iterate ideas and thoughts clearly and effectively to the management
