Job description

A US-based company that is developing a research platform to make information retrieval seamless and assisting in smarter innovation, is looking for a Full-Stack Back-End-Heavy Engineer. The selected candidate will be tasked with converting the product requirements into functionality. Users can search pooled scientific, regulatory, and business datasets on the company's secure platform simultaneously. They have managed to secure more than $7mn in funding so far. This will be a long-term, full-time role requiring 6+ hours overlap with the EST time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Create and improve the applications' back-end architecture.
  • Create, optimize, and build a variety of scalable features.
  • Improve the website's performance by analyzing it.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or back-end developer
  • Experience in Python, Docker, and React is a must
  • Experience with ElasticSearch is nice to have
  • Exceptional communication skills are a must
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
