Job description

A US-based company providing users with advanced fixed income pricing and analytics services is looking for a Full-Stack Front-End-Heavy Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for defining application objectives, features, and functionality. The company is helping their clients analyze and manage fixed income risk by applying the practical aspects of trading. They have managed to raise more than $800K in funding during their Seed round.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the full lifecycle of the product from design to documentation
Help maintain the production environment, make it scalable and highly available
Work with cross-functional teams in a flexible and empathetic manner
Play a critical part in realizing the long-term goals and objectives of the company
Translate powerful ideas into business value

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of experience working as a full-stack or front-end developer
Deep understanding of at least one of the UI development languages/technologies
Adequate experience as a full-stack developer to build web applications using existing back-end calculation libraries/DLLs
Extensive knowledge of Data structures and algorithms that are fundamental to the practice of software engineering
Knowledge of various programming languages and paradigms
Familiarity with database technologies
The desire to provide software solutions for the finance industry
Ability to articulate and communicate technical detail to both peers and non-technical stakeholders
Capable of working enthusiastically on both individual and team projects
Strong attention to detail
Ability to drive issue resolution and projects through to completion
