Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is creating cutting-edge gaming experiences by unleashing the power of the web3 revolution is looking for a Full-Stack Back-End-Heavy Developer. The developer will be collaborating with other teams to design, develop, review and test applications. The company provides users with a network of interconnected games, with player-driven real economies, sharing a single cryptocurrency. This will be a long-term position requiring some overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build code that is dependable, manageable, and bug-free
  • Develop numerous gaming systems in collaboration with team members
  • Develop and conduct code reviews, fix bugs, and profile and optimize code as directed
  • Follow technical best practices, development processes, and coding standards
  • Work with the QA team and provide the information needed to fully test developed code
  • Provide support to internal users for developed software
  • Keep up to date on state-of-the-art software engineering methods and technologies
  • Communicate with other team members, internal customers, and external stakeholders to determine product requirements
  • Identify technical and developmental obstacles and generate solutions to mitigate risks
  • Possess and develop areas of engineering expertise
  • Mentor other engineers as needed to increase their abilities and productivity

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Solid C# and Unity Engine programming skills
  • Extensive experience in Unity and related technologies
  • At least 2+ years of experience working in the game industry on a AAA PC or console title
  • Passionate about making and playing games
  • Ability to work well in a cooperative environment
  • Prior experience programming game features and systems
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
