Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is helping businesses to engage, inform, and convert visitors with video content on their e-commerce site, is looking for a Full-Stack Back-End-Heavy Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of developing a modern and highly responsive web-based user interface. The next generation company is humanizing technology and bridging the digital divide by building solutions that facilitate an inclusive and interpersonal connection. This will be a full-time, long-term role requiring some overlap with the PST time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create a platform for content creators and brands to self-serve
  • Create key features such as content creator search, an interactive e-commerce platform, and sentiment analysis
  • Create scalable services to automate the checkout process for customers
  • Create efficient and reusable web components, as well as solutions that are reliable, performant, and scalable
  • Assist brands in shifting away from traditional content and promoting the creator economy
  • Create services and APIs to power existing and new web and mobile app features
  • Extensively test self-written code

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or back-end developer
  • Must have experience in Typescript, Node.js, DynamoDB, React, and Shopify
  • Familiarity with Airtable, GraphQL, HTML, and CSS is nice to have
  • Fluent in written and spoken English communication
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
