Job description

A fast-growing company on a mission to transform the existing marketplace and help build sustainable solutions that are eco-friendly, is looking for a Full-Stack Back-End-Heavy Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading critical development cycle tasks like planning, developing, and executing end-to-end web architecture. The US-based company is committed to delivering large-scale energy, carbon, and water-use savings solutions that will enable a better future and reverse the damage on the planet. This will be a long-term role requiring some overlap with the PST/EST time zones. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications 
  • Collaborate with the team to develop enterprise software systems
  • Review functional requirements and draft implementation programs on new and existing features
  • Contribute to developing new unit tests and promptly fix bugs in integration checks
  • Regularly communicate with internal clients to substructure, document, and fix support problems for production systems
  • Carry out systematic code reviews on colleagues' contributions to the codebase
  • Actively participate in standup meetings and pointing discussions 
  • Work across cross-functional teams to perform technical analysis and discussions with internal clients, project managers, and software engineers
  • Handle queries related to bugs or new feature implementation plans

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Prolific experience in Python, React, SQL, Python, and Django
  • Nice to have experience in JavaScript, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL 
  • Prior experience with object-oriented languages and frameworks preferred
  • Demonstrable experience with relational databases including MySQL, SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar 
  • Passion for collaborative software development 
  • Significant experience in JavaScript and React is a plus
  • Energy-related professional experience is nice to have 
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
