Job description

A fast-growing platform fostering a travel community by bringing together the world's largest collection of visual, detailed, and customizable itineraries, is looking for a Full-Stack Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for checking and identifying technical risks and issues related to projects, along with reporting and developing a strategy for the solution. The platform was developed with the mission to inspire, plan, and share adventures and itineraries with fellow travelers. This will be a long-term position that can offer lucrative opportunities for talented developers.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete software component development that includes design, development, testing, and maintenance
  • Collaborate closely with the founders and designers to implement new feature concepts as quickly as possible
  • Solve difficult technical problems with good design and implementation
  • Contribute product development ideas to the roadmap
  • Have a long-term impact on the technology stack's direction
  • Analyze and improve system components' efficiency, scalability, and stability

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Must have an experience in JavaScript/Typescript
  • Knowledge of Node, Postgres, and databases
  • Experience in Graphql, AWS, or other deployment services is nice to have
  • CI/CD experience is preferred
  • Unit testing and Serverless experience is a bonus
  • Great communication skills
