Job description

A live learning platform that connects students and professionals with personalized instruction to achieve any goal is looking for a Full-Stack, Back-End-Heavy Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of building, managing, and scaling the company’s software, applications, and overall operations. The platform connects students to top-notch professors, specialists, and presenters from the most prestigious institutions, museums, zoos, and art institutes. The company has managed to raise funding worth more than $100 mn during their Series C round. This role presents a nice opportunity for developers to contribute their expertise in building innovative products. It requires 6+ hours of overlap with PST.

Job Responsibilities:

Evaluate, implement, and articulate end-to-end features
Identify tech debt and make recommendations to tackle them
Mentor other engineers in designing unique solutions for unique problems
Communicate with leadership about the needs of the team

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or back-end developer
2+ years of experience working with Golang
Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and Python is nice to have
Fluent in spoken and written English
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
