Full-Stack Developer (Back-End-Heavy)

A live learning platform that connects students and professionals with personalized instruction to achieve any goal is looking for a Full-Stack, Back-End-Heavy Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of building, managing, and scaling the company’s software, applications, and overall operations. The platform connects students to top-notch professors, specialists, and presenters from the most prestigious institutions, museums, zoos, and art institutes. The company has managed to raise funding worth more than $100 mn during their Series C round. This role presents a nice opportunity for developers to contribute their expertise in building innovative products. It requires 6+ hours of overlap with PST.

Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, implement, and articulate end-to-end features 
• Identify tech debt and make recommendations to tackle them 
• Mentor other engineers in designing unique solutions for unique problems 
• Communicate with leadership about the needs of the team 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or back-end developer
• 2+ years of experience working with Golang
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and Python is nice to have
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
