Job description

A fast-scaling company that provides AI-powered chatbots as a service to automate customer support requests for its clients, is looking for a Full-Stack Back-End-Heavy Engineer. The selected engineer will analyze and enhance various components of the company’s AI platform including - the context engine, feed integration pipeline, and configuration manager. The company is helping businesses become more structured and cost-efficient by training and managing their AI chatbots and improving growth efforts by streamlining customer support. This position requires a sync with Indian time.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage bot onboarding and development for new and existing clients
  • Build Bot UI flows and integrate client APIs 
  • Understand use cases and explore new capabilities
  • Provide integration for external systems and bot platform
  • Develop new/improve existing ChatUI Web SDK (Software Development Kit) for customers on various channels (web, mobile, and others)
  • Develop new and expand existing customer-facing features for setup, onboarding, and configuration on Admin Site
  • Build and enhance employee-facing Admin Site UI for reporting, AI training, monitoring, alerting, and other activities
  • Manage RESTful APIs for various features within the core bot platform
  • Analyze various third-party messaging systems and understand their evolution to suggest enhancement and implementations for the company platform
  • Build and manage AWS clusters for clients
  • Automate test cases and build processes to streamline engineering efforts

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4-7 years of relevant experience as a Full-Stack Engineer
  • Expertise with Ruby or Ruby on Rails 
  • Strong comprehension of web technologies such as RestFul APIs and Authentication
  • Exceptional coding skills and experience with front-end technologies such as React, HTML, and CSS
  • Previous experience working with distributed systems and handling a large amount of data
  • Familiarity with Database Systems
  • Great understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with Data Science problems would be a plus
  • Good English communication skills - both verbal and written
