Job description

A fast-growing company transforming the future of art through effective, interactive NFTs is looking for a Full-Stack Back-End-Heavy Developer. The developer will contribute to building and scaling the platform while maintaining reliability. The selected candidate will play a vital role in the back-end development functioning as the hub for a growing suite of clients across many platforms like web, TV, browser extension, digital frames, etc. The platform allows users to efficiently create, collect, and trade NFTs. Developers who would like to work full-time with ample opportunity to make a meaningful impact are well-suited for this role. It requires some time overlap with the PST/EST time zones.

Job Responsibilities:

Work with other developers to build new features and maintain existing ones
Perform integrations with other platforms
Help re-architect parts of the back-end to create a microservice architecture
Assist in building out other tools core to the product (image and audio rendering)
Design, develop and maintain internal tools for the team
Write tests and document features clearly
Regularly explore new libraries, tools, and technologies to enhance the platform

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant full-stack or back-end development experience
Strong experience as a Node back-end or full-stack developer
Prior experience working on several large-scale APIs
Highly motivated with the readiness to dive into the challenge of creating an entirely new art form
Exceptional communication skills (in your code and on Discord)
Interest and familiarity with cryptocurrency, blockchain, NFTs, and art concepts is a plus
Experience with image, audio, and video-rendering tools (gimp, FFmpeg) is nice to have
