Job description

An enterprise that's revolutionizing the veterinary healthcare industry through the innovative application of technology is seeking a Full-Stack Back-End-Heavy Developer. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to both front-end and back-end operations and ideally has exposure to or an interest in the medical/veterinary industry. The company is creating a digital scribe that, minutes after a session, uses artificial intelligence (AI) to provide comprehensive veterinary SOAP notes. This role is geared toward those with a strong background in back-end operations and is especially suited to individuals with experience and interest in AI and ML. 


Job Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain the product by utilizing AI mechanisms and integrations
  • Design and implement innovative features to meet our rapidly growing user base needs
  • Comprehend, interpret, and draft technical documentation for internal and external purposes
  • Carry out extensive work across both front-end and back-end operations, and debug as necessary
  • Evaluate, participate in, and execute new initiatives from conception to implementation


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4+ years in a full-stack developer role, preferably back-end-heavy
  • Strong practical knowledge of AI and PostgreSQL is essential
  • Experience working with SQL and relational databases
  • Prolific experience working with LLM, GPT, MySQL, Angular.js, React, and Vue.js
  • Familiarity with Elixir, or a willingness to learn it
  • Experience with building an AI application, although not mandatory, will be favorably viewed
  • Flexibility and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced tech environment
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
