Job description

A U.S.-based company that is on a mission to provide an innovative platform for collaborative data analysis that prioritizes AI, is looking for a Full-Stack Back-End-Heavy Developer. The developer will be working together with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to make sure that the project needs are technically feasible. The company is working on an AI conversation engine that will save data teams from having to write SQL for ad hoc requests. The company has managed to secure more than $2.8mn during their Seed round of funding.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, create, and manage clean, well-structured codebases
  • Applications should be tested for bugs and optimized performance
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality code
  • Keep up with the most recent technological advancements and market trends to improve development procedures

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or back-end developer
  • Extensive experience working with Python, SQL, CI/CD, and Docker
  • Prolific experience with database design and data modeling
  • Demonstrable experience with web service like REST API, Flask, and Django
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Some understanding of DevOps technologies like AWS setup and Database/warehouse setup
  • Nice to have some experience with Databases, lookML, and Data warehouse
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
