Data Scientist / ML Engineer

A high-growth decision-support platform offering data analytics, group purchasing, and managed services to firms, is looking for a Data Scientist / ML Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for providing and implementing data-driven solutions for the business needs. The platform is trusted by over 50 elite firms and enables clients to work efficiently by rendering support to executives in making key operating decisions. It has raised up to $6.6 mn in funding so far. The role offers a full-time, long-term opportunity for the candidate to collaborate on developing innovative solutions. It requires a time overlap with PST.

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply your knowledge in the domain of AI/ML to create products with a great user experience 
• Understand project requirements to design an effective roadmap and manage the overall project lifecycle
• Operationalize intelligent ML services for business and engineering units
• Guide your team members on best practices of software development
• Coordinate technical projects through the entire engineering team
• Facilitate collaboration between engineers, product owners, and designers

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in ML in a working environment
• 5+ years of experience in forecasting with data development
• Prior working experience in Python
• Ability to make strong non-reversible decisions in production
• Must have prior experience as a data developer before working with ML
• Must have an in-depth knowledge of ML databases, technologies, and frameworks
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Team player but is self-sufficient and capable of working independently
