Job description

A US-based company that programmatically coordinates business audits, merging them into a single knowledge base, and providing quick visibility to stakeholders, is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer Analyst. The selected candidate will be working closely with other teams to identify and define security gaps based on the results of queries. The company has built automated workflows and compliance templates by utilizing years of expertise to help businesses streamline their processes. It has raised $40 mn+ during the Series B round of funding. This is a great opportunity for engineers who enjoy working in a remote and largely asynchronous work environment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Craft out complex queries and optimize them (preferably PostgreSQL)
  • Clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions
  • Define SQL queries for the integration of customer data with the company’s SaaS tool used for achieving customer compliance
  • Advocate for improvements of customer underlying data/systems
  • Shepherd the definition and improvement to customers across cloud providers with guidance on how to achieve them

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Prolific knowledge and experience working with GCP, Azure, and AWS
  • Experience working with Relational SQL databases
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
  • Ability to work in an environment with lots of contexts and minimal guidance
  • Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal
