Backend Enginer

A fast-emerging company delivering an on-demand networking as-a-service to owners and tenants is looking for a Backend Engineer. The engineer will work on rewriting the code in C and C++ to Java and carry out migrations to stateless models from stateful areas. Sound understanding in these areas is crucial for this role. The platform offers outstanding security and connectivity to the internet and public clouds. The role is suitable for those who would like to contribute to developing solutions that enable smart buildings and workplaces.

Job Responsibilities:

• Migrate to a stateless model from stateful areas
• Migrate to container services and path computation
• Constantly improve and enhance the code that power and drive the services
• Create security and data protection solutions
• Design and build scalable APIs 
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code 
• Ensure completed projects meet and exceed the decided goals

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• Proficient in C, C++, and Java
• Expertise in Linux Fernel level work and Linux Driver
• Prior experience with development on Google Cloud and AWS
• Understanding of Stateful and Stateless models, and also networking functions
• Must be an excellent communicator and skilled at interpersonal relationships
• Team player but also capable of working independently
