Job description

An early-stage 3D-AI apparel technology start-up developing innovative solutions for brands and consumers in the apparel retail industry is looking for a Back-end Developer. The developer will work on creating internal and client-facing dashboards as well as optimizing the platform to deliver relevant and satisfying shopping experiences for customers. The company has partnered across the entire apparel ecosystem to significantly scale satisfaction for shoppers and boost retail economics for organizations. It has raised a total funding amount close to $3 mn in over two funding rounds. This is a great chance for those who want to contribute their skills and expertise to building an innovative, data-driven platform. It requires some time overlap with the EST or CST time zones.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build internal, client-facing dashboards and generate the data using Python
  • Review existing applications and optimize accordingly
  • Collaborate with other developers and engineers to resolve errors and fix bugs
  • Validate and implement the best development practices

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Must be proficient with Python, SQL, analytics, and creating spreadsheets
  • Solid understanding of the American retail experience
  • Nice to have some experience in e-commerce, fashion brands, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
