Back-End MERN Developer

A rapidly-growing company that is on a mission to help businesses and clients expand their digital presence by utilizing creative solutions, is looking for a Back-End MERN Developer. The selected candidate will oversee the creation, development, and upkeep of the back-end of the web applications. The company provides cutting-edge online design and development, graphic design, mobile app development, testing, and research solutions. This position requires a significant overlap with the IST time zone. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js), web applications' back-ends have to be designed, developed, and maintained
• Participate actively in the creation of new features
• Create and maintain RESTful web services and APIs
• Implement scalable and secure web application architecture
• Web applications should be optimized for performance and scalability
• Integrate user-facing aspects with server-side logic by working with front-end developers
• To gather requirements and plan features, work with product managers and stakeholders
• Create UI components that are connected to JavaScript object models
• Implement data protection and security
• Write code that is clear, readable, and well-documented
• Debug and resolve production problems
• Using automation and best practices ensures that the development process is improved continuously
• Keep up with new developments in web development trends and technologies

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
• Demonstrable experience working with MERN stacks like MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js
• Prolific experience with UI frameworks such as React with HTML5, CSS3, and Node.js 
• In-depth knowledge of web services and RESTful API development
• Nice to have some expertise with the Google API and Stripe payment
• Strong knowledge of web application security and server-side architecture
• Prior React.js and React Native experience is desirable
• Demonstrable knowledge of version control programs, such as Git
• Strong ability to solve problems and attention to detail
• Ability to operate individually and in team environments
• Excellent English communication abilities both in writing and speaking
